2023-24 Graduate and Doctoral Budgets

Graduate and Doctoral budgets are 11-month budgets, which reflect enrollment in the fall and spring semesters, and summer session.

Notes

1. Direct charges (tuition, room, and board) on a student’s account may differ from the total cost of attendance calculations depicted in the chart.
2. Indirect costs (books/supplies, living expenses, miscellaneous, and transportation) are estimates and your actual costs may vary.
3. A financial aid administrator may use professional judgment to adjust a student’s allowance on the cost of the attendance budget. You may need to submit documentation to receive a professional judgment decision.
4. Domestic Graduate tuition reflects $554 per credit hour tuition charge for standard 18-credit hours enrollment. International Graduate tuition reflects $896 per credit hour tuition charge for standard 18-credit hours enrollment.
5. Doctoral tuition reflects $1,397 per credit hour tuition charge for standard 18-credit hours enrollment.
6. Doctoral books and supplies estimate are the cost of subscriptions to electronic services (such as periodicals, statistical packages, etc.).
7. Graduate and Doctoral living expenses estimate are $1,865 per month cost for food and housing. $1,495 per month cost for housing and $370 per month for food based on 11 months.
8. Graduate and Doctoral miscellaneous expenses are an estimate of $53 per week allowance (for 44 weeks) for person expenses such as clothing, personal items, laundry, entertainment, etc. An additional $39 per week allowance (for 44 weeks) is added to the student’s budget for transportation expenses.
